TERMS AND CONDITIONS
**By registering online or having one of our staff members register for you, you are AGREEING to these terms and conditions and understand these Policies are effective Immediately.**
Registration
Dancin’ on the Edge is a 10 month school year from September from June. Students are allowed to register at any point within the year, and tuition payments will begin upon registration.
I understand the studio does not have a registration fee, but in order to register I must leave a $50.00 deposit to hold my spot.
Accident or Injury
I agree to provide the necessary medical insurance for my child/children and I will not hold Dancin’ on the Edge or employees liable in the event of any accident or injury. This is a physical activity, by participating, there is an assumed risk of injury. If an injury does occur, I understand Dancin' on the Edge is not financially liable. If I cannot be reached in an emergency situation, I give my permission to the Dancin’ on the Edge staff to render or act on my behalf to obtain emergency medical treatment for this student for any illness or injury that may occur while attending the studio. Dancin’ on the Edge is not responsible for any injuries that occur to any siblings. All children that are not in the classroom with a teacher MUST be watched all times.
Payments
I understand payments are due to Dancin' on the Edge by the 10th of each month. Payments can be made in cash, debit/credit card, of check. NOW, payments can also be made by you via our parent portal by CC only. There will be a $10.00 late fee charge after the 10th of each month. NO EXCEPTIONS! Tuition remains the same regardless of whether it is a 5 week month or shortened month due to holidays. Tuition is not pro-rated, refunded or credited for missed classes or holidays.
Recital Tickets
I understand that I can NOT purchase recital tickets for any other dancer but my own, and in order to receive recital tickets my balance MUST be paid in full by ticket day. If my balance is not paid in full by ticket day, I understand I’m still allowed to pick my tickets, but they will be held by the director till all payments are paid. If ALL payments fail to be in by dress rehearsal, I understand that I will not be allowed to attend the show and/or have my dancer dance in show.
Weather Condition
I understand during extreme weather Dancin’ on the Edge follows school closings according to the Freehold High School Township delays/closings. You may also find our closing schedule for holidays on our website. Any Classes that have to be canceled due to extreme weather will be scheduled a make up on the director’s discretion.
Costumes
I understand that all Dance team costume deposits are due by October 15th of each year, and all Recital Costume deposits are due by November 15th of each year. Each costume will have a $55.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Dance Team costume Balances will be due by Jan 30th and Recital costume balances will be due by February 25th. I understand in order to receive ANY of my costumes ALL balances MUST be paid in full.
Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events
I understand that it is my responsibility to be aware of all school activities: Picture Day, Ticket Day, Dress Rehearsal, recital, extra classes, and dates the school is closed. All these important dates will either be posted on our website, will be in emails, or our end of year packet. Please make sure you check regularly.
Dance Class Etiquette
We understand due to certain circumstances dancers will be late. Please understand that you must call the studio and let the front desk know how tardy your dancer will be so they can inform the teacher.
**Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. All dancers MUST wear pink tights and hair in bun to ballet class. All other classes tan tights can be worn with black leotard and black shorts. Hip-Hop classes must have proper hip-hop attire. Students are not permitted to wear jeans or shoes worn on the street or outdoors, to any dance class.
